Process salary progression
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability to process salary progression. For example, depending on the setup, Sparkrock 365 considers factors such as experience years, pay grid, pay grade, and progression steps, and then determines whether an employee progresses to the next salary level.
To process salary progression for multiple employees at once, you can first use the Progression Worksheet page to review and validate the data. Next, you can process the worksheet lines to create the respective regular progression HR requests, and then process the HR requests.
Load lines into the Progression Worksheet
You can load lines into the progression worksheet and review the data before proceeding to create HR requests.
To load lines into the Progression Worksheet
Choose , enter progression worksheet, and then choose the related link.
The Progression Worksheet page opens.
On the action bar, choose Load Lines.
The Load Progression Worksheet page opens.
In Effective Date, specify the date of the effective date of the new HR employee assignment that is to be created upon processing as well as a filter for the quantity threshold based calculation methods.
To clear the data in the worksheet before loading the new lines, turn on Clear Worksheet.
Specify filters as required.
Choose OK.
Rows are loaded into the spreadsheet.
Create regular progression HR requests
After you have reviewed the data on the Progression Worksheet page, you can create regular progression HR requests.
To create regular progression HR requests
Choose , enter progression worksheet, and then choose the related link.
The Progression Worksheet page opens.
Depending on whether you want to process all lines or process selected lines, perform one of the following steps:
To process all lines, on the action bar, choose Process All Lines.
To process selected lines, select the one or more lines that you want to process, and then on the action bar, choose Process Selected Lines.
A dialog box appears and displays the following question:
Do you want to create HR Requests from the Progression Worksheet Lines?
Choose Yes.
