Set Up Seniority Groups
Seniority groups can be set up for reporting and tracking purposes. Seniority groups indicate the length of tenure or the terms and conditions of a collective agreement. After seniority groups are set up, you can assign the seniority groups to a seniority type. Seniority groups are a lower level of tracking seniority than the seniority type level. A seniority group can belong to more than one seniority type.
To associate seniority groups with employees, seniority groups are assigned on the HR Position Card and Employee Assignment Card pages. When you assign a seniority group to an HR position, the seniority group on the respective employee active assignments are updated automatically.
