    Set up pay grids

    To manage different pay grids, set up pay grid codes.

    To set up a pay grid

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter pay grids, and then choose the related link.

      The Pay Grids page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose New.

      A new row appears.

    3. In Code, specify a code to represent the pay grade.

    4. Specify values for other fields as required.

    5. On the action bar, choose Detail.

      The Pay Grid Details page opens.

    6. For each pay grid detail record that you want to add, perform the following steps:

      1. On the action bar, choose New.
      2. In Pay Grade Code, specify a code that represents a pay grade.
      3. In Pay Step Code, specify a code that represents a pay step.
      4. Specify values for other fields as required.
