Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) integration
Sparkrock 365 includes functionality that provides the capability for your organization to integrate with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) database. The OCT integration consists of a set of web services that can be run manually or can be scheduled to run on a periodic basis.
The web services provide the capability for you to perform the following tasks:
Task | Details |
---|---|
Untag all employees | This web service updates the OCT database so that the OCT is aware of the employees who have become inactive in your school board. |
Tag all employees | This web service updates the status of employee association records in the Sparkrock 365 database to match with the status in the OCT database, for example, Good Standing or Not Good Standing. |
Get a list of qualifications | This web service imports all qualification codes in the OCT database into Sparkrock 365. |
Get employee qualifications | This web service updates employee records in Sparkrock 365 with the qualification data that is stored in the OCT database. |
