Run an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) integration
You can run an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) integration manually or schedule the integration to run on a periodic basis.
To run an OCT integration
Choose
, enter associations, and then choose the related link.
The Associations page opens.
On the action bar, choose OCT Integration.
The OCT Integration page opens.
To have Sparkrock 365 run the web service that updates the OCT database so that the OCT is aware of the employees who have become inactive in your school board, turn on Untag all employees.
To have Sparkrock 365 run the web service that updates the status of employee association records in the Sparkrock 365 database to match with the status in the OCT database, for example, Good Standing or Not Good Standing, turn on Tag all employees.
To have Sparkrock 365 run the web service that imports all qualification codes in the OCT database into Sparkrock 365, turn on Get List Qualifications.
To have Sparkrock 365 run the web service that updates employee records in Sparkrock 365 with the qualification data that is stored in the OCT database, turn on Get Employee Qualifications.
Depending on whether you want to run the integration manually or schedule the integration to run at a later time, perform one of the following actions:
To run the integration manually, choose OK.
To schedule the integration, perform the following steps:
- To open the Schedule a Report - OCT Integration page, choose Schedule.
- Specify values for fields as required.
- Choose OK. Sparkrock 365 automatically creates a job queue entry for the OCT integration. The object ID is 23032224.
