Assign a default pay grid to an HR position
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to assign a default pay grid to an HR position. When an HR position has a default pay grid code assigned, and an assignment is created with this HR position, Sparkrock 365 automatically assigns this default pay grid code on the assignment.

Tip:
The default pay grid that you can assign depends on the setup of the pay grid, the default HR pay code, and the default pay type. For example, to assign a default pay grid code that has a Pay Type of Salary, the default HR pay code must also have a Pay Type of Salary and the Default Pay Type must be set to Salary.
After you have assigned a default pay grid to an HR position, you can assign a default pay grade and a default pay step to the HR position.
To assign a default pay grid to an HR position
Choose
, enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.The HR Positions page opens.
Select the HR position to which you want to assign a default pay grid, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The HR Position Card page opens.
On the Payroll tab, in Default Pay Grid Code, specify the code that represents the default pay grid that you want to assign to this HR position.
