Assign a default pay step to an HR position

After you have assigned a default pay grid code to an HR position, you can assign a default pay step code to an HR position.

To assign a default pay step to an HR position

1. Choose , enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.

   The HR Positions page opens.

2. Select the HR position to which you want to assign a default pay step, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.

   The HR Position Card page opens.

3. On the Payroll tab, in Default Pay Step Code, specify the code that represents the default pay step that you want to assign to this HR position.
