Absence payout request approvals

Sparkrock 365 provides the capability to have absence payout requests go through an approval workflow. Before an absence payout request can go through an approval workflow, some setup is required. For more information about setup, see Set up absence request approvals.

Approval group

When a payout request is sent for approval, Sparkrock 365 uses the approval group code on the respective HR employee attendance plan line to determine the one or more approvers.

Absence Payout Status and Registration Status

When a payout request is sent for approval, Sparkrock 365 changes the Status of the payout request to Pending and the Registration Status to Open. When a payout request has these statuses, the payout request does not appear on the Absence Registration page.

In the event that an approver approves the absence payout request, Sparkrock 365 changes the Status of the payout request to Approved and the Registration Status to Registered

Alternatively, in the event that an approver denies the request, Sparkrock 365 changes the Status of the payout request to Denied and leaves the Registration Status as Open.

In the event that the absence payout request is cancelled, Sparkrock 365 changes the Status of the payout request to Cancelled and the Registration Status to Cancelled.
