Load absence payout time into the compensation journal

To have absence payouts be processed through payroll, you must load the absence payout records into the compensation journal. Sparkrock 365 loads absence payout records into the compensation journal based on the related records that appear on the Absence Registration page where the Document Type is equal to Payout and the Requested Date falls within the pay cycle period.

To load absence payout time into the compensation journal

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter compensation journal, and then choose the related link.

    The Compensation Journal page opens.

  2. In Batch Name, specify the name of the batch that you want to use.

  3. In Pay Cycle Period, specify the pay cycle that you want to load.

  4. On the action bar, choose Home > Load Lines.

    The Compensation Journal Load page opens.

  5. On the Options FastTab, turn on Load Payment Time.

  6. Specify values for other fields as required.

  7. Choose OK.

    Sparkrock 365 loads the absence payout records into the compensation journal. You can now proceed with processing payroll as per your normal procedure.
