Employee experience worksheet processing for substitute position assignments
Sparkrock ERP provides the capability to load substitute position assignment data into the employee experience worksheet.

This feature is supported only when the Calculation Method on the Load Employee Experience Worksheet page is set to Actual. The Calculation Method of Elapsed Time is not currently supported.
Advanced HR Setup
Before you can load substitute position assignment data into the employee experience worksheet, you must define one or more HR positions that are associated with substitute positions. To learn more. go to Set up the Advanced HR Setup page.
Loading substitute position assignment lines into the employee experience worksheet
To load substitute position assignment lines into the employee experience worksheet, you must turn on Load Substitutes on the Load Employee Experience Worksheet page. To learn more, go to Load lines into the employee experience worksheet.
Sparkrock ERP processing logic
When loading lines into the Employee Experience Worksheet page, Sparkrock ERP uses the following processing logic for substitute assignments:
If Load Substitutes is turned on, Sparkrock ERP references the Substitute Positions field on the Advanced HR Setup page.
If Load Substitutes is turned off, Sparkrock ERP does not load substitute position assignment lines into the Employee Experience Worksheet page.
If the Substitute Positions field includes one or more HR position codes, Sparkrock ERP performs the following actions:
- Loads lines for compensation ledger entries that are associated with active HR employee assignments for the specified HR position codes and Pay Periods.
- Applies HR employee assignment filters, if specified.
- Sets Experience FTE to 1.00.
If the Substitute Positions field is blank, Sparkrock ERP does not load substitute position assignment lines into the Employee Experience Worksheet page.

Substitute position assignments have an Active FTE of 0.00.
