Employee appraisals
Appraisals track employee evaluations, which assess how they are performing in their role within the company.
Appraisal codes
A company may set up several appraisal codes, which can be linked together in an appraisal plan, depending on the roles within the company. Initial appraisal codes are associated with HR Positions so that they are assigned when an employee is hired or given a new assignment.
The Appraisals page tracks the number of employees that are assigned to each code, code descriptions, due date of completion periods, the next appraisal code assigned, and a number of other details.
View an employee's appraisal history
You can view current appraisals and an appraisal history for any employee from the employee’s Appraisal page. Typically, an employee could have a number of different appraisal codes linked to their employee card. For example, when an employee first starts, the employee may be assigned a probation appraisal code and an annual appraisal code, which becomes active when the employee has passed their probation period. In addition, if the employee is given a new HR Position within the company, an appraisal may be added to their record. The history of their appraisals in maintained in Sparkrock 365.
