Create an Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) report export file
When there are no errors with the data in the Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) report worksheet, you can create an EDAS report export file. Warnings do not prevent you from creating an EDAS report export file.
The file format is .CSV.
The file has the following naming convention:
EDASsssYYYYQnJnnn*.CSV
Where:
Characters 1-4 equal EDAS.
Characters 5-7 represent the numeric school district number with one or more leading zeros. The value is taken from the <b>School District Number</b> field on the <b>EDAS Setup</b> page.
Characters 8-11 are a 4 digit school year, for example, for fiscal year 2008-2009, the value is <i>0809</i>.
Character 12 equals <i>Q</i> for quarter
Character 13 represents the quarter, for example, for Q1, the value is <i>1</i>, for Q2, the value is <i>2</i>, for Q3, the value is <i>3</i>, and for Q4, the value is <i>4</i>.
Character 14 is equal to <i>J</i>. The value of <i>J</i> is short for job.
Characters 15 - 17 represents the job number with one or more leading zeroes. The number is used to prevent jobs from being overwritten. Sparkrock 365 increments the number for each subsequent job.
Character 18 is equal to <i>.</i>, which is the file extension delimiter.
Characters 19-21 are equal to CSV, which is the filename extension.
To create an EDAS report export file
Choose , enter edas report worksheet, and then choose the related link.
The EDAS Report Worksheet page opens.
On the action bar, choose Home > Create File.
Sparkrock 365 creates the file. You can then proceed with saving the file to your desired device location.
