Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) reporting
The Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) collects employment data from the public school system. The BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA) and the Ministry of Education and Child Care developed this collection to improve the access to, and quality of, employment data in the public education sector.
EDAS serves the needs of:
School Districts by providing workforce management information to support local operations and accurate data to support collective bargaining.
BCPSEA by supporting the BCPSEA Sustainable Workforce Initiative, human resource best practices, and collective bargaining for support staff and teachers.
The ministry by providing employee data required to allocate funding.
A common benefit to all organizations involved is that EDAS streamlines existing ministry data collection forms, reduces duplication of requests, and automates the data extraction and transfer process.
To create an EDAS report export file, you must use the EDAS report worksheet. For more information, see Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) report worksheet.
