Assign benefit groups to HR positions
To have default benefit groups assigned during the new hire process, benefit groups must be assigned to HR positions. The benefit group on the HR position becomes the default benefit group during processing of an HR request that has one of the following HR reason codes:
Hire
Rehire
Additional assignment
Transfer
Details change
Leave
Termination

To assign a benefit group to an HR position
Choose , enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.
The HR Positions page opens.
Select the hr position for which you want to assign a benefit group, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The HR Position Card page opens.
On the General FastTab, in Benefit Group Code, specify the benefit group that you want to assign to this HR position.
