Set up a reason for departure for a grounds for termination

To perform Employment Data and Analysis System (EDAS) reporting, you must set up reasons for departure for grounds for termination.

To set up a reason for departure for a grounds for termination

1. Select Search (Alt+Q) , enter grounds for termination, and then choose the related link.

   The Grounds for Termination page opens.

2. In the row of the grounds for termination for which you want to set up a reason for departure, in Reason For Departure, specify one of the following options:

   • Deceased
   • Expired Contract / Change of Position
   • Layoff
   • Resignation
   • Retirement
   • Terminated
   • On Exchange
