    Set up HR pay codes

    When there is a payroll implication for a cause of absence code, you must set up HR pay codes.

    To set up an HR pay code

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hr pay codes, and then choose the related link.

      The HR Pay Codes page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose New.

      A new row appears.

    3. Specify values for fields as required.

    To assign an HR pay code to a cause of absence

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter causes of absence, and then choose the related link.

      The Causes of Absence page opens.

    2. Select the cause of absence for which you want to assign an HR pay code, and then on the action bar, choose Edit.

      The Cause of Absence Card page opens.

    3. On the General FastTab, in HR Pay Code, specify the HR pay code that you want to assign to the cause of absence.
