    To have Sparkrock 365 display an offset for regular hours for unpaid time when loading lines into the compensation journal

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hr pay codes, and then choose the related link.

      The HR Pay Codes page opens.

    2. On the HR pay code for which you want Sparkrock 365 to display an offset for regular hours for unpaid time when loading lines into the compensation journal, select the Display Offset for Regular Hours for Unpaid Time checkbox.

    • Calculate Standard Units is turned on for the respective HR Position Card page of the HR position that is associated with the compensation journal line.
    • On the compensation journal line for the standard units, the Hours/Days quantity is not reduced by the unpaid absence.
    • On the compensation journal line for the unpaid absence which has this HR pay code, the value of Hours/Days is reported with a negative sign and the value of Absence Quantity is reported with a positive sign.
    • Display Offset for Regular Hours for Unpaid Time checkbox is clear on the respective HR Pay Code page of the HR pay code that is associated with the compensation journal line.
    • Pay Type is equal to Hourly on the respective HR Employee Assignment Card page of the assignment that is associated with the compensation journal line.
    • Calculate Standard Units is turned on for the respective HR Position Card page of the HR position that is associated with the compensation journal line.
    • On the compensation journal line for the standard units, the Hours/Days quantity is reduced by the quantity of the unpaid absence.
    • On the compensation journal line for the unpaid absence which has this HR pay code, the value of Hours/Days is reported as 0.00 and the value of Absence Quantity is reported with a positive sign.
