    Set up budget sets

    Budget administrators can create budget sets that define the range of general ledger accounts and dimensions that budget contributors can specify for a budget. Budget sets are created from a budget plan. For information about how to set up budget administrators, see Set Up Budget Administrators.

    To set up budget sets

    1. Select Search (Alt+Q) Tell me what you want to do, enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.

      The G/L Budget Plans page opens.

    2. Select the budget plan for which you want to set up budget sets, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.

      The G/L Budget Sets page opens.

    3. On the action bar, choose New.

      The G/L Budget Set Card page opens.

    4. Specify values as required.

    To edit a budget set

    1. Select Search (Alt+Q) Tell me what you want to do, enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.

      The G/L Budget Plans page opens.

    2. Select the budget plan for which you want to edit a budget set, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.

      The G/L Budget Sets page opens.

    3. Select the budget set that you want to edit, and then on the action bar, choose Manage Edit.

      The G/L Budget Set Card page opens.

    4. Update values as required.
