To resolve this issue, Sparkrock 365 requires changes so that when you create an HR request that has an HR Reason Code of 37-LEAVE CHANGE, you can only specify HR employee assignments that were created from processed HR requests where the Type of Leave Request was On Leave. Also, Sparkrock 365 requires changes so that when you create an HR request that has an HR Reason Code of 52-CHG LEAVE RETURN, you can only specify HR employee assignments that were created from processed HR requests where the Type of Leave Request was Leave and Return.PD-4106

This scenario occurs when all the following conditions exist:
  • On the Advanced HR Setup page, Role-Based Absences is turned on.
  • You process an HR request that has the Process Type of Details Change or Transfer.
  • The value of HR Position Code and Attendance Plan Code are unchanged between the original and new assignment.
To resolve this issue, Sparkrock 365 requires changes so that when you process an HR request that has a Process Type of Details Change or Transfer, Sparkrock 365 copies the respective absence registration records from the original assignment to the new assignment. The timing of the copy of records is to be based on the Effective Date of the HR request. When the Effective Date is today or in the past, the copy is to occur immediately. Alternatively, when the Effective Date is in the future, Sparkrock 365 must create a scheduled task that runs when the Effective Date is reached.
In the event that the HR request is reversed, Sparkrock 365 must reverse all respective changes and if necessary, delete the related scheduled task so that records appear the same as before the HR request was processed. Also, when performing the reversal, Sparkrock 365 must copy any subsequent manually created absence registration records that are associated with the new assignment to the original assignment.PD-3853
