Problems that are resolved in this maintenance update

The following problems are resolved in this maintenance update.

    HR Management

    Case Number Description
Not applicable Sparkrock 365 requires enhancements to the employee experience and seniority functionality. For more information, see Employee experience and seniority enhancements.PD-4022,PD-3889,PD-3886,PD-3346,PD-3343
Not applicable On the Employee Card page, when you try to change the case of letters in the Company Email field, for example, from lowercase (cronus.com) to uppercase (CRONUS.COM), Sparkrock displays the following error message:
This email address is already used by another mySparkrock userPD-3989
Not applicable When you try to load a compensation journal import file, if the dates in the file have a single digit, for example, if the Work Date or Posting Date is 2/27/2024, Sparkrock 365 displays the following error:
    There is nothing to import.
To resolve this issue, the COMP JNL IMPORT data exchange definition requires changes to the Data Format field for the Posting Date and Date Worked column definitions to use the following format:
    M/d/yyyy
The changes to the data format must permit users to load a compensation journal import file that includes single and double digit day and month date values.PD-3698
Not applicable When you update the Last Name and Company Email fields on the Employee Card page, Sparkrock 365 does not automatically update the following fields:
    • Last Name and E-Mail on the respective mySparkrock User Setup Card page
    • Last Name and Contact Email on the respective mySparkrock User Card page
    PD-3223

    Payroll Administration

    Case Number Description
Not applicable For a specific scenario, when you send compensation journal lines to payroll, Sparkrock displays the following error:
Unable to Calculate Provincial Tax for Payroll Employee <No.>. They are missing a Provincial Tax information line.
The scenario occurs when all the following conditions exist:
    • The values of Province and Default Tax Province are different on the Payroll Employee Card page, for example, one is AB and the other is BC.
    • You make a change to the Employee Card page, for example, you add a value for Middle Name.
When you make a change to the Employee Card page, Sparkrock 365 automatically synchronizes the data on the Payroll Employee Card page with the data from the Employee Card page. The error occurs because during the synchronization, Sparkrock 365 is incorrectly overwriting the hidden SUTA / Income Tax State field. The synchronization process requires changes so that when the synchronization occurs and the SUTA / Income Tax State field has a value, the process does not overwrite the value.PD-3941

    Provincial Benefits Data Exchange

    Case Number Description
Not applicable When you load lines into the OTIP worksheet, Sparkrock 365 requires the capability to filter by Client ID. For more information, see Filter by Client ID when you load lines into the OTIP worksheet.PD-3451
