Budget matrix for general ledger budget sets
Budget sets contributors, administrators, and approvers can view details for a budget set on the Budget Matrix. The Budget Matrix appears on the Budget page that is accessed from a budget set.
The Budget Matrix for a budget set contributor or budget administrator only displays the range of general ledger accounts and dimensions that have been defined for the respective budget set. A budget set contributor or budget administrator is prevented from changing any of the filters that are displayed on the Filters FastTab. Budget set contributors or budget administrators can enter and update data in the Budget Matrix within the defined range of general ledger accounts and dimensions and are prevented from entering or updating data that is outside of the defined range.
From the Budget Matrix, budget set contributors, administrators, and approvers can open the related budget set entries, where more details can be viewed. Budget set contributors can enter and update budget set entries within the defined range of general ledger accounts and dimensions. Administrators can edit budget set entry details as required. To view the Budget Matrix for a budget set
Choose
, enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to view the budget matrix for a budget set, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to view the budget matrix, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
Update a Budget Matrix for a budget set
Budget set contributors can update the values in the Budget Matrix.
To edit the Budget Matrix for a budget set
Choose
, enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to edit the budget matrix for a budget set, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to edit the budget matrix, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
Edit values as required.
When you update values, the related budget set entries are created automatically.
