How Relevant Time Entry Units are Determined
The mode of time sheet data entry is controlled by the data entry model of a time entry unit. Each employee is required to have an assignment that matches the time entry unit position and the time entry unit position criteria.
The following list includes information about the different data entry models for a time entry unit:
Employee: Individual employees are responsible for performing their own time entry. Each employee automatically gets a time sheet if they have an assignment record that matches the time entry unit position criteria.
User: A specific user is responsible for data entry of time sheet data. For an employee to have time sheet lines for the weekly period, they must have an assignment that meets the time entry unit position criteria.
Group: Users that are assigned to a user group are responsible for data entry of time sheet data. Any member of the group can perform the time sheet data entry.
