Create an Attendance Plan
After you have created causes of absence categories, you can create an attendance plan and add attendance plan lines.
To create an attendance plan
Choose , enter attendance plans, and then choose the related link.
The Attendance Plans page opens.
On the action bar, choose New.
The Attendance Plan page opens.
In Code, specify a code to represent the attendance plan.
In Description, specify a description for the attendance plan.
The No. of Employees field is a counter that acts as a link to the list of employees who use this plan.
If you are using attendance confirmations, in the Confirmation section, perform the following steps:
- In Attend. Conf. HR Pay Cycle Code, specify the pay cycle code that is used for employees.
- In Emp. Reminder Frequency specify the frequency at which reminder emails are to be sent to employees. For example, if you want reminders sent every two days, specify 2D.
- In Manager Reminder Frequency enter the frequency at which reminder emails are to be sent to managers. For example, if you want reminders sent every two days, specify 2D.
In the Attendance Year section, perform the following steps:
- In Start Day, specify the day that starts the current attendance year.
- In Start Month, specify the month that starts the current attendance year.
- In Days to Show Prior Year, specify how many days in the prior year that you want to display. This field enables you to set up a period in which you can see previous and current year entries until the carry-forward process is completed. If this field is set to 0, only the entries from the current year are displayed.
Current Year is a display-only field that shows the attendance year as calculated from the above fields.
Add attendance plan lines
Attendance plan lines refer to the lines on the attendance plan that are related to the causes of absence that are available for employees with this plan.
To add attendance plan lines
Choose , enter attendance plans, and then choose the related link.
The Attendance Plans page opens.
Select the attendance plan to which you want to add attendance plan lines, and then on the action bar, choose Edit.
The Attendance Plan page opens.
Add a row for each cause of absence category that you want to use on this plan.
To add the entry type lines that are related to a specific category, on the action bar, choose Functions, and then click Get Lines.
Attendance plan line values are defaulted based on the values that are set up for causes of absence.
