Attach a Document to a General Journal Line
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to attach documents to general journal lines. After you post the general journal lines, you can view any associated attachments on the respective general ledger entries.
To attach a document to a general journal line
Choose , enter general journals, and then choose the related link.
If required, select a general journal template, and then choose OK.
The General Journals page opens.
Select the general journal line to which you want to attach a document, and then on the Attachments FactBox, next to Documents, select the link that appears for the number.
The Attached Documents page opens.
Depending on whether there are existing attachments, perform one of the following steps:
If there are no existing attachments, in the Attachment column, choose Attach File(s)….
If there are existing attachments, to add a line, on the action bar, choose New, and then choose Attach File(s)….
An Attach a document dialog box appears.
Drop a file in the box. Alternatively, browse to the file that you want to attach, and then choose Open.
Attach a document to multiple selected general journal lines simultaneously
To increase productivity, you can attach a document to multiple selected general journal lines simultaneously.

You can only delete an attachment from one general journal line at a time.
To attach a document to multiple selected general journal line simultaneously
Choose , enter general journals, and then choose the related link.
If required, select a general journal template, and then choose OK.
The General Journals page opens.
Select the general journal lines to which you want to attach a document, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Attach to Selected Lines.
The Attached Documents page opens.
Depending on whether there are existing attachments, perform one of the following steps:
If there are no existing attachments, in the Attachment column, choose Attach File(s)….
If there are existing attachments, to add a line, on the action bar, choose New, and then choose Attach File(s)….
An Attach a document dialog box appears.
Drop a file in the box. Alternatively, browse to the file that you want to attach, and then choose Open.
The Journal Line No. field specifies the journal line number that is associated with the attachment.
