Set Up Time Entry Errors and Warnings for Minimum and Maximum Hours
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to configure the time entry errors and warnings for minimum and maximum hours that mySparkrock displays when users perform time entry. You perform this configuration per time entry unit on the Time Entry Unit Card page.

When you perform this configuration, the setup applies to all time entry activities for that unit.
To set up time entry errors and warnings for minimum and maximum hours
Choose , enter time entry units, and then choose the related link.
The Time Entry Units page opens.
Select the time entry unit for which you want to set up errors and warnings, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The Time Entry Unit Card page opens.
In Minimum Hours per Day, specify the minimum number of hours per day.
When this value is greater than 0.00, Sparkrock 365 validates whether the number of hours that are entered on any day, per employee, is equal or greater than this value.
In Maximum Hours per Day, specify the maximum number of hours per day.
When this value is greater than 0.00, Sparkrock 365 validates whether the number of hours that are entered on any day, per employee, is less than or equal to this value.
In Per Day Control Flag, specify whether the per day hour validation is to display a warning or error, if violated, when the time line is submitted.
A warning does not prevent a user from proceeding, whereas an error prevents a user from proceeding.
In Minimum Hours per Week, specify the minimum number of hours per week.
When this value is greater than 0.00, Sparkrock 365 validates whether the total number of hours that are entered for the week, per employee, is equal or greater than this value.
In Maximum Hours per Week, specify the maximum number of hours per week.
When this value is greater than 0.00, Sparkrock 365 validates whether the total number of hours that are entered for the week, per employee, is less than or equal to this value.
In Per Week Control Flag, specify whether the per week hour validation is to display a warning or error, if violated, when the time line is submitted.
A warning does not prevent a user from proceeding, whereas an error prevents a user from proceeding.
