Set up a tax area

A tax area is a grouping of sales tax jurisdictions based on a particular geographic location.

To set up a tax area

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter tax areas, and then choose the related link.

    The Tax Areas page opens.

  2. For each tax area that you want to set up, perform the following steps:

    1. On the action bar, choose New. The Tax Area page opens.
    2. Specify values for fields as required.
