Set Up Scheduling
Sparkrock 365 includes a Scheduling extension that makes scheduling more efficient and organized. Scheduling is an optional extension of Sparkrock 365. The extension provides the capability for employees and unit supervisors to manage their unit schedules, bid on and fill shifts, handle shift absences, and otherwise manage shift-based work assignments.
The following list includes some of the key features of the extension:
Schedule templates that automate schedule creation.
Auto-fill settings that reduce processing time and errors.
Self-service capabilities for employees and managers.
Automatic warnings for schedule changes that could lead to overtime costs. These warnings proactively prevent budget issues.
Staff detail information that is readily available to supervisors, such as qualifications, seniority, and availability.
mySparkrock users
All employees who are going to have shift assignments in the scheduling system must be mySparkrock users. This design is necessary to establish the positions and pay cycles that are used by scheduling.
