Set Up mySparkrock User Groups
To reduce maintenance in the case of personnel changes, you can set up mySparkrock user groups for each data entry person or group. A mySparkrock user group can be assigned on the mySparkrock User Setup Card page as a data entry group. Only one mySparkrock user group can be assigned to any specific mySparkrock user setup card record.
When mySparkrock user groups are used and an employee's responsibility changes, only the mySparkrock User Setup Card page has to be changed. For example, Mary Smith was the Secretary at School A and is now a Secretary at School B. When Mary Smith was at School A, on the mySparkrock User Setup Card page, the mySparkrock User Group was set to SEC A. When Mary Smith became the Secretary at School B, the mySparkrock User Group was changed to SEC B.
You can also group mySparkrock users together for other purposes. For example, you may want to set up a group of mySparkrock users to approve a document.
