Set Up HR Positions for Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP)
Before creating the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) export, you must set up location class and benefit eligibility for HR positions.
To set up HR positions for OTIP
Choose , enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.
The HR Positions page opens.
Select the HR position for which you want to set up a location class, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The HR Position Card page opens.
On the General FastTab, in Location Class, specify the code that represents the location class that you want to assign to this HR position.
In Member Plan, specify the code that represents the member plan that you want to assign to this HR position.
If the member plan has been associated with a location class the value is automatically populated with the specification of a location class.
If this position is eligible for benefits, turn on Benefit Eligible.
