Set Up HR Position Classes

HR position classes are sometimes referred to as jobs. Position classes are a category of positions or roles within an organization that have similar attributes.

To create an HR Position Class

1. Choose , enter hr position classes, and then choose the related link.

   The HR Position Classes page opens.

2. On the action bar, choose New.

   The HR Position Class Card page opens.

3. In Code, specify a code to represent the HR position class.

4. Specify values for other fields as required.

Assign an HR position class to an HR position

1. Choose , enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.

   The HR Positions page opens.

2. Select the HR Position for which you want to assign an HR position class, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.

   The HR Position Card page opens.

3. On the General FastTab, in HR Position Class Code, specify the code that represents the HR position class that you want to assign.
