Set up a default approval group code for an attendance plan line

When the Default Approval Group Code field on the HR Position Card page has a value other than blank and an HR request is processed, the Approval Group Code on employee attendance plan lines are updated with the default value. Otherwise, the employee attendance plan lines are not updated during HR request processing.

Note:
The Default Approval Group Code field that is specified on the HR Position Card page takes precedence over an Approval Group Code that is specified on attendance plans.

To set up a default approval group code for an attendance plan line

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hr positions, and then choose the related link.

    The HR Positions page opens.

  2. Select the HR position for which you want Sparkrock 365 to automatically assign a default approval group code for an attendance plan line, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.

    The HR Position Card page opens.

  3. In Default Approval Group Code, specify the code that represents the approval group that you want to be the default on an attendance plan line.
