Set Up a Cause of Absence for Absence Payouts
To process absence payout requests, you must perform some setup for causes of absence. The cause of absence setup determines whether the cause of absence can be specified on a payout request.
The HR pay code setup on the cause of absence determines the payroll implications for the absence payout. Sparkrock 365 uses the HR pay code setup when loading the absence payout data into the compensation journal. When the HR pay code is missing on a cause of absence, Sparkrock 365 does not load the related absence payout data into the compensation journal.
To set up a cause of absence for absence payouts
Choose , enter causes of absence, and then choose the related link.
The Causes of Absence page opens.
Select the cause of absence for which you want to set up absence payouts, and then on the action bar, choose Edit.
The Cause of Absence Card page opens.
On the General FastTab, turn on Payout Request.
To ensure that Sparkrock 365 processes the absence payout through payroll, in HR Pay Code, specify an applicable code.
