Set Up Attendance Plan Accruals
Accruals are calculated based on thresholds, such as years of service. Accruals are set up on the Cause of Absence Card page, on the Accruals FastTab, and on the Attendance Plan Accruals page.
Note
Note:
When entry types have the same cause of absence category, it is recommended that the accrual threshold be configured on only one entry type.

The Accrual amount considers the unit of measure. If Hours has been selected as the unit of measure, the amount of time is displayed in hours.
Enter the accrual amount that is to be specified when the threshold is reached. To calculate the years of service, the Years of Service Calc. date on the Accrual worksheet is compared to the Vacation Credit Date on the Employee Card. For example, if an employee has less than five years of service, they are entitled to 10 days of vacation. Anything above five years of service is entitled to 15 days of vacation. Anything above 15 years of service is entitled to 20 days of vacation.
When applying the attendance plan to the employee through an HR request or manual setup, the values are automatically applied on the employee's record. If required, you can edit the applied details.
