Set Up Absence Resequencing
Absence resequencing occurs when there is a change to the set of requested absences, or to scheduling, that triggers the reprocessing of previously approved, future-dated absence requests.
Allow sequencing for absence requests
To specify that sequencing can occur for the causes of absences that are associated with absence requests, you must turn on Allow Sequencing for each cause of absence.

Prevent negative balances on attendance plan lines
To prevent negative balances on attendance plan lines, you must turn on Prevent Negative Balances for each cause of absence.
Note
Note:
When Prevent Negative Balances is turned on, Allow Sequencing must also be turned on because when the eligible balance for a cause of absence reaches zero, Sparkrock 365 checks the cause of absence sequencing to see whether the absence can be applied to another cause of absence. If the absence cannot be applied to another cause of absence, an error is displayed and the employee is prevented from proceeding with the absence request.
