Reopen approved time sheet entries
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to reopen approved time sheet entries that meet all the following criteria:
The time sheet entries are not in the compensation journal.
The time sheet entries have not been processed by payroll.
When you reopen approved time sheet entries, Sparkrock 365 performs the following actions:
Updates the Status of approved lines to Open.
Cancels approval entries.
Resets the value of Submitted By and Date/Time.
Updates the value of Modified By and Date/Time with the user who did the reopening and the date and time.
Sends a summary email to notify the respective person that the reopening took place. The following list describes how Sparkrock 365 determines the recipient of the email based on the value of Data Entry Model for the time entry unit:
When the Data Entry Model of the time entry unit is Employee, Sparkrock 365 sends a summary email to the employee.
When the Data Entry Model of the time entry unit is User, Sparkrock 365 sends a summary email to the user.
When the Data Entry Model of the time entry unit is Group, Sparkrock 365 sends a summary email to the group.
To reopen approved time sheet entries
Choose
, enter time sheet entry, and then choose the related link.
The Time Sheet Entry page opens.
Select the week for which you want to reopen approved time sheet entries.
Select the unit, employee, or the one or more lines that you want to reopen.
On the action bar, choose Actions > Request Approval > Reopen Approved Entries, and then depending on what you want to reopen, choose Entire Unit, Selected Employee, or Selected Line.
