Load Lines into the British Columbia pension report worksheet
School boards can load the British Columbia pension data that is stored in Sparkrock 365 into the British Columbia pension report worksheet, and then view the data. From the worksheet, school boards can verify the data, and then print reports. Also, school boards can use the worksheet as a register for audit purposes.
To load lines into the British Columbia pension report worksheet
Choose
, enter british columbia pension report worksheet, and then choose the related link.
The British Columbia Pension Report Worksheet page opens.
On the action bar, choose Load Lines.
If there is existing data on the British Columbia Pension Report Worksheet page, a dialog box appears that displays the following text:
Already existing data from worksheet will be deleted. Do you want to continue?
To continue, choose Yes.
The British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page opens.
In Pay Periods, specify the one or more HR pay cycle periods for which you want data to appear in the worksheet.
In Pension Report Type, specify the type of pension report data to load into the worksheet.
The following options are available:
- Pension Summary : Use to view and print the British Columbia Pension report. When Pension Summary is specified for Pension Report Type while loading lines into the British Columbia Pension Report Worksheet page, Sparkrock 365 considers the processed manual adjustments that appear on the British Columbia Pension Adjustments page and updates the worksheet line amounts accordingly.
- Pension by Pay Period : Use to view and manually adjust British Columbia Pension report data.
In British Columbia Pension Plan, specify MPP - Municipal Pension Plan or TPP - Teachers Pension Plan.
(Optional) To only show pension data in the worksheet for a specific employee, in Employee No., specify the number that represents the employee.
(Optional) In HR Department, specify the one or more HR department codes that Sparkrock 365 is to filter assignment entries by when loading lines into the British Columbia pension report worksheet.
Choose OK.
Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) records
When determining which records to load into the British Columbia Pension Report Worksheet page for Municipal Pension Plan (MPP), Sparkrock 365 uses the following criteria:
- Identifies employees with HR assignments that have HR an position where the respective HR position class on the British Columbia Pension FastTab, has Pension Employee Group set to 04GENERL.
- The Calculation Start Date and Calculation End Date of those HR assignments fall withing the Pay Periods on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.

Teachers Pension Plan (TPP) records
When determining which records to load into the British Columbia Pension Report Worksheet page for Teachers Pension Plan (MPP), Sparkrock 365 uses the following criteria:
- Identifies employees with HR assignments that have HR an position where the respective HR position class on the British Columbia Pension FastTab, has Pension Employee Group set to 05GE10MO or 05GE12MO.
- The Calculation Start Date and Calculation End Date fall within the Pay Periods on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.

Retro pay records
On the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page, when you choose MPP - Municipal Pension Plan, Sparkrock 365 includes lines for retro pay in the worksheet where all the following criteria is met:
The employee has an assignment with an HR position that has an HR position class where the value for Pension Employee Group is 04GENERL.
The employee has received retro pay during the Pay Periods that were specified on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.
Alternatively, on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page, when you choose TPP - Teachers Pension Plan, Sparkrock 365 includes lines for retro pay in the worksheet where all the following criteria is met:
The employee has an assignment with an HR position that has an HR position class where the value for Pension Employee Group is 05GE10MO or 05GE12MO.
The employee has received retro pay during the Pay Periods that were specified on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.
To determine the retro pay payroll ledger entries to use in the worksheet calculations, Sparkrock 365 uses the one or more values that are set up on the Advanced HR Setup page, on the British Columbia Pension Setup FastTab, in the Retro Pay Codes field.
Rehab payment records
On the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page, when you choose MPP - Municipal Pension Plan, Sparkrock 365 includes lines for rehab payments in the worksheet where all the following criteria is met:
The employee has an assignment with an HR position that has an HR position class where the value for Pension Employee Group is 04GENERL.
The employee has received rehab payments during the Pay Periods that were specified on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.
Alternatively, on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page, when you choose TPP - Teachers Pension Plan, Sparkrock 365 includes lines for rehab payments in the worksheet where all the following criteria is met:
The employee has an assignment with an HR position that has an HR position class where the value for Pension Employee Group is 05GE10MO or 05GE12MO.
The employee has received rehab payments during the Pay Periods that were specified on the British Columbia Pension Reporting Load Lines page.
To determine the rehab payment payroll ledger entries to use in the worksheet calculations, Sparkrock 365 uses the one or more values that are set up on the Advanced HR Setup page, on the British Columbia Pension Setup FastTab, in the Rehab Pay Codes field.
