Email customer statements
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to email customer statements.
Access customer statements
Customer statement reports can be accessed through Tell Me feature or from the Customers or Customer card pages.
To create a customer statement
Choose
, enter advanced customer statement, and then choose the related link.
The Advanced Customer Statement page opens.
Specify values as required.
To view the customer statement, choose Send to, Print, or Preview.
Interaction Log
On the Advanced Customer Statement page, you can specify whether to Log Interaction. When Log Interaction is turned on, for both printed and emailed statements, a record is added to the Interaction Log Entries page.
To set which customer statement report is available by default
Choose
, enter report selection - sales, and then choose the related link.
The Report Selection - Sales page opens.
In Usage, specify Customer Statement.
In Report Id, specify one of the following values:
10072: Customer Statement
23020129: Advanced Customer Statement
To set an email body globally
Choose
, enter report selection - sales, and then choose the related link.
The Report Selection - Sales page opens.
In Usage, specify Customer Statement.
Select the Use for Email Body checkbox.
In Email Body Layout Description, specify a report layout to use.
It is recommended that at the customer level the Use For Email Body checkbox be set to clear. This setup ensures that the global setting is used.
To set a customer-specific email body
Choose
, enter customers, and then choose the related link.
The Customers page opens.
Select the customer for which you want to set a customer-specific email body, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > View.
The Customer Card page opens.
On the action bar, choose Related, Customer, Document Layouts.
The Document Layouts page opens.
In Usage, specify Customer Statement.
In Report Id, specify one of the following values:
10072: Customer Statement
23020129: Advanced Customer Statement
Select the Use for Email Body checkbox.
In Email Body Layout Description, specify a report layout to use.
To set a customer-specific email without any email body
Choose
, enter customers, and then choose the related link.
The Customers page opens.
Select the customer for which you want to set a customer-specific email without any email body, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > View.
The Customer Card page opens.
On the action bar, choose Related, Customer, Document Layouts.
The Document Layouts page opens.
In Usage, specify Customer Statement.
In Report Id, specify one of the following values:
10072: Customer Statement
23020129: Advanced Customer Statement
Select the Use for Email Body checkbox.
In Email Body Layout Description, ensure that the field value is blank.
