Budget set entries
From the Budget Matrix, a budget set contributor can open the related budget set entries, where more details can be viewed and specified.
To view budget set entries
Choose , enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.
The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to view the budget matrix for a budget sets, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to view the budget matrix, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
To view the related budget set entries for a record in the Budget Matrix, in the row that you want to view, select the link that appears for the value in Budgeted Amount.
The G/L Budget Set Entries page opens for the related general ledger account.
Update budget set entries
When you update a Budget Matrix, related budget set entries are created automatically. Budget set entries can also be manually created.
Budget set entries can be edited and deleted as required.
Also, you can export budget set entries to Excel for further analysis.

Budget set entries cannot be imported into Sparkrock 365.
To manually create budget set entries
Choose , enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.
The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to create budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to create budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
In the Budget Matrix row for which you want to create budget set entries, select the link that appears for the value in Budgeted Amount.
The G/L Budget Set Entries page opens for the related general ledger account.
On the action bar, choose New.
A new row appears.
Specify values for fields as required.
To edit budget set entries
Choose , enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.
The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to edit budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to edit budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
To edit the related budget set entries for a record in the Budget Matrix, in the row that you want to edit, select the link that appears for the value in Budgeted Amount.
The G/L Budget Set Entries page opens for the related general ledger account.
To edit the entries on the action bar, choose Edit List.
Edit values as required.
To delete budget set entries
Choose , enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.
The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to delete budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to delete budget set entries, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
In the Budget Matrix row for which you want to delete budget set entries, select the link that appears for the value in Budgeted Amount.
The G/L Budget Set Entries page opens for the related general ledger account.
Select the one or more budget set entries that you want to delete, and then on the action bar, choose Delete.
A dialog box appears and displays the following text:
Go ahead and delete?
Choose Yes.
To export budget set entries to Excel
Choose , enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.
The G/L Budget Plans page opens.
Select the budget plan for which you want to export budget set entries to Excel, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.
The G/L Budget Sets page opens.
Select the budget set for which you want to export budget set entries to Excel, and then on the action bar, choose Home > Edit Budget set.
The Budget page opens and the Budget Matrix is displayed.
In the Budget Matrix row for which you want to export budget set entries to Excel, select the link that appears for the value in Budgeted Amount.
The G/L Budget Set Entries page opens for the related general ledger account.
On the action bar, choose Export to Excel.
The Export Budget to Excel page opens.
Specify values for fields as required, and then choose OK.
On the Filter: G/L Budget Entry FastTab, the default filters are based on the budget set setup. You can change these filters, but you cannot export data that is outside of the budget set setup. However, you can add filters to export a subset of budget set entries for a respective budget set.
