Attach an Attendance Plan to an HR Request
HR Administrators may choose to automate the process of assigning attendance plans to employees together with processing an HR request. Typically, this automation is performed for HR requests that have the process types of Hire, Assignment Change, or Details Change.
If your organization uses the standard HR reason codes that come with Sparkrock 365, no setup is required. However, if your organization uses custom HR reason codes that are organization specific, you must perform some additional setup.
After you attach an attendance plan to an HR request along with assigning the attendance plan to the position, the processing of the HR request automatically adds or updates the attendance plan that is assigned to the employee.
Typically, if the employee exists in the database, that is, the Employee No. field on the HR request is blank, and the attendance plan that is specified in the HR request is the same as the attendance plan that is associated with the employee, no change occurs. However, if the attendance plan is different, the Employee Attendance Plan page displays the following cause of absences:
Cause of absences that are included in the new attendance plan that is being applied.
Cause of absences from any other plan that has a 0 balance for the subject employee.
Cause of absences from an updated attendance plan.
Cause of absences from an updated effective date.
