Set up Sparkrock 365 to remove an employee's HR tasks when the employee is terminated
You can configure Sparkrock 365 to automatically remove an employee's incomplete HR tasks when the employee is terminated.
To configure Sparkrock 365 to remove an employee's HR tasks when the employee is terminated
Choose
, enter advanced hr setup, and then choose the related link.
The Advanced HR Setup page opens.
On the HR Requests Setup FastTab, turn on Remove Tasks on Termination.
When Remove Tasks on Termination is turned on and a termination or teacher termination HR request is processed, Sparkrock 365 removes the respective employee's incomplete HR tasks. Only the terminated employee's completed tasks remain on the Employee HR Tasks page.
When Remove Tasks on Termination is turned off, Sparkrock 365 does not remove any employee HR tasks when employees are terminated.

To support this feature, the HR Process Functions page includes the following records for HR requests that have the Process Type of Termination.

Reversal processing
If a termination or teacher termination HR request is reversed and Remove Tasks on Termination is turned on, Sparkrock 365 restores the incomplete employee HR tasks. Both completed and incomplete tasks appear on the Employee HR Tasks page.
