Set Up HRIS Export Setup

The HRIS Export Setup page displays a list of supported export types along with actions to define setup fields, file definitions and change definitions for each type.

Although the list and all peripheral data for each type is auto-generated for existing exports, the page can be edited in the event that you want to define a new export type and specify setup fields, file definitions, and change definitions as part of a set of specifications.

To set up the HRIS Export Setup page

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hris exports, and then choose the related link.

    The HRIS Exports page opens and displays a list of integrations that have been set up.

  2. To view or edit a list of setup fields for an integration, select the integration, and then on the action bar, choose Related > View > Setup Definitions.

    The HRIS Export Setup Definitions page opens.

  3. View or edit the fields as required, and then choose Back icon..

  4. To view or edit a list of file definitions for an integration, select the integration, and then on the action bar, choose Related > View > File Definitions.

    The HRIS Export File Definitions page opens. This page describes the formatting and sequencing of the export file in complete detail. The file definition record should be a translation of the file specifications provided by the vendor.

  5. View or edit the fields as required.
