Set Up Employment Contracts
On the Employment Contracts page, you can set up codes to track different contract types, such as admin and clerical. These different contract types can be used for categorizing the positions that are used in your organization.
After you set up the employment contract codes, you can assign the codes to the individual employees on their employee cards.
To create an employment contract
Choose , enter employment contracts, and then choose the related link.
The Employment Contracts page opens.
On the action bar, choose New.
A new record appears.
In Code, specify a code for the employment contract.
In Description, specify a description for the employment contract.
After you assign the employment contract codes to employees, you can view on the Employment Contract page, in the No. of Contracts field, the total number of employees in the company that are employed under a certain contract. This functionality is useful for tracking the number of employees that are employed under each contract type.
Assign an employment contract to an employee
Choose , enter employees, and then choose the related link.
The Employees page opens.
Select the employee for which you want to assign an employment contract, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The Employee Card page opens.
On the Administration FastTab, in the Emplymt. Contract Code field, specify the code that represents the employment contract that you want to assign.
