Set Up Budgeting and Planning Approvals
Budget set approvers are responsible for approving budget sets, not the whole budget. Budget set approvers can be one of multiple levels of approvers within an approval group. A budget set approver has access to all data that can help them make a decision regarding whether to provide their approval, including budget details, attachments, links, and notes.
The Sparkrock 365 budgeting and planning approval functionality enhances the Business Central approval workflows functionality. For more information about the Business Central approval workflow functionality, see Set Up Workflows.
The Sparkrock 365 budgeting and planning approval functionality only supports approvals by approval groups. On a budget set, only approval groups can be assigned as approvers. Also, budget administrators can act as administrative approvers.
