Set Up Azure Blob Storage
The default amount of storage for a Sparkrock 365 implementation is 80 GB. If required, you can purchase additional storage, but this additional storage is expensive. Alternatively, a more cost-effective solution is to use Azure Blob storage. Azure Blob storage is a cloud-based storage service provided by Microsoft Azure. Azure Blob storage is designed to store and manage substantial amounts of unstructured data.
The following list describes some of the benefits of using Azure Blob storage:
Scalability: Azure Blob storage is highly scalable. You can store and manage large amounts of data as your requirements grow. You can store up to 500TB of data in a single Blob container.
Durability: Azure Blob storage is designed to provide high durability for your data. An Azure Blob stores multiple copies of your data in multiple locations, ensuring that your data is always available.
Security: Azure Blob storage provides several security features to protect your data, such as support for Microsoft Entra ID authentication and authorization, encryption, and role-based access control.
Cost-effective: Azure Blob storage is a cost-effective solution for storing large amounts of data. You only pay for the storage that you use. There are no upfront costs or termination fees.
Integration: Azure Blob storage can be integrated with other Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Machine Learning. These integrations makes it easier to build applications that process and analyze your data.
Accessibility: Azure Blob storage provides the capability for you to access your data from anywhere in the world, using a variety of protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, Azure Storage SDKs, and REST APIs.
To take advantage of these benefits, Sparkrock 365 provides the following Azure Blob storage functionality:
Store all Sparkrock 365 attachment files in Azure Blob storage.
Create a company in Azure Blob storage.
Create a copy of a company in Azure Blob storage.
Delete a company from Azure Blob storage.
