In Effective Date, specify a date.
This field determines which position assignment records are considered using the calculation start and end dates from the HR position ledger entry record.
If Separation from Last Pay is turned off, the effective date is used as the separation date in the new record of employment record.
In Reason, specify a code that represents the reason for inactivity.
In Recall Date, specify the date that is to be used to populate Expected Recall Date in the new record of employment record.
To populate Date of Separation in the new record of employment record with the date that was worked value from the employee’s last paid hour payroll ledger entry record, turn on Separation from Last Pay.
When Separation from Last Pay is turned off, the Date of Separation in the new record of employment record is populated with the value that is entered in Effective Date.
