    Human Resources Information System (HRIS) export initial setup

    To populate the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) Human Resources Information System (HRIS) export setup default values for employee benefits and employee assignment records, you must run the HRIS Export Initial Setup process. This process updates or uses data from employee benefits, HR positions, and employee assignments.

    This process generates a report which is helpful when you are performing your OTIP configuration after you have created your employee benefits and employee assignment records.

    To run the HRIS Export Initial Setup process

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hris export initial setup, and then choose the related link.

      The HRIS Export Initial Setup page opens.

    2. Specify values as required.

    3. Choose OK.
