End employee assignments
For employees who have more than one assignment, and just one of the assignments is ending, create an HR request and assign the respective assignment end reason code. If all assignments are ending for the employee, assign the termination reason code.
To end an employee assignment
Choose , enter hr requests, and then choose the related link.
The HR Requests page opens.
On the action bar, choose New.
The HR Request page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
- In HR Reason Code, specify a code that represents one of the following scenarios:
- Assignment end
- Assignment end with ROE
- Assignment end for teacher with ROE
- In Effective Date, specify the date on which the assignment ends.
- In Employee No., specify the employee number that corresponds to this HR Request.
- Specify values for other fields as required.
- In HR Reason Code, specify a code that represents one of the following scenarios:
On the action bar, choose Home > Details.
The HR Request-Assignment End page opens.
On the General FastTab, perform the following steps:
- In HR Emp. Assignment Entry No., specify the employee's assignment that you are ending.
- If applicable, in Grounds for Termination Code, specify the reason for ending the assignment.
- In Assignment End Reason Code, specify the reason code explaining why the assignment is ending.
- Specify values for other fields as required.
If you specified an HR reason code with a Process Type of Assignment End, perform the following steps on the ROE FastTab:
- In Last Date Worked, specify the employee's last date of employment.
- In Voluntarily/Involuntarily, specify whether the employee is leaving voluntarily.
Choose Close.
You are returned to the HR Request page.
Process the HR request.
