Create a Record of Employment (ROE) while terminating an employee
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to create a Record of Employment (ROE) while terminating an employee. After you create an ROE, you can view the details, and then create an export file to send to Service Canada.
To create a record of employment while terminating an employee
Choose , enter hr requests, and then choose the related link.
The HR Requests page opens.
Select the termination HR request for which you want to create an ROE, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.
The HR Request page opens.
In Effective Date, specify the date of the last day that the employee worked.
In Employee No., specify the number that represents the employee who is being terminated.
On the action bar, choose Home > Details.
The HR Request-Termination page opens.
In Calculation End Date, specify the date of the last day that the employee worked.
In ROE Reason Code, specify the code that represents the ROE reason.
The ROE Reason Code field only appears when you have the Language field set to English (Canada) on the My Settings page.
Specify values for other fields as required.
Close the HR Request-Termination page to return to the HR Request page.
To close the HR Request-Termination page, choose Close.
On the action bar, choose Home > Process All Steps.
