Set up the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) Human Resources Information System (HRIS) application area

The Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) Human Resources Information System (HRIS) application area determines whether OTIP HRIS related pages can be searched using the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature. feature. The OTIP (HRIS) application area also determines whether OTIP HRIS related actions appear on the action bar for specific pages.

To set up the OTIP (HRIS) application area

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter application area setup, and then choose the related link.

    The Application Area Setup page opens.

  2. On the HR Management FastTab, turn on OTIP (HRIS).
