    Set up HR task types

    You can set up and manage HR tasks that must be completed for each new employee as well as the ongoing tasks for existing employees. When you set up HR tasks, you can track the important tasks that must be completed for each employee and designate the individual's who are responsible for completing the tasks, along with setting a timeline for completing the tasks.

    To create HR task types

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hr task types, and then choose the related link.

      The HR Task Types page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose New.

      A new row appears.

    3. In Code, specify a code to represent the HR task.

    4. In Description, specify a description for the HR task.

    5. In Details, specify a complete explanation for the task.

    6. In mySparkrock URL, specify the link to the mySparkrock page that includes additional details, forms, or other resources that may be related to the task.

    7. In Responsibility, specify the position that is responsible for completing the task.

    8. In Due Date Calculation, specify the date formula for elapsed time to calculate the due date.

      If HR requests are used to create the task, the due date is calculated from the start date of the position entry.

    9. Specify values for other fields as required.
